Affordable Housing Commission

The UK is in the middle of a serious affordable housing crisis. Set against this backdrop, The Smith Institute has established the independent Affordable Housing Commission, funded by the Nationwide Foundation.

We were commissioned to create a fresh visual identity system for use across digital and print channels that would create an open forum to stimulate public debate about how the affordability crisis relates to tenure, place, demographics, incomes, wealth distribution, life chances, as well as the social and economic impacts.
